Chronic haemodialysis

Non-renal therapies 

Dialysis is a process that filters waste and excess fluid from your blood when your kidneys can no longer do so. It is the primary treatment for kidney failure and comprises two main therapies, haemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis.  

Dialysis

Kidney disease involves a gradual deterioration of the kidneys in removing waste from your body. Delaying the progression of kidney damage is possible with the right treatment, but chronic kidney disease requires dialysis or a kidney transplant.
